Random Person #1: Can anyone give me 15k?
Me: I'm sure the monsters in PvE will give you some money if you ask nicely
Random Person #2: Yeah, and if that doesn't work, you could kill them and take their stuff!

I was in the crystal desert vanquishing, and I ran across someone in one of those little outposts that's only good for starting a VQ from.

There's someone saying they need help with "Warriors Task." I'm like, okay, probably some newbie trying to get secondary warrior, so I offer to help. I find out that they're a level 20 w/mo wearing Rank 10 Ebon Vanguard. So I'm like, what the? I talk to him a bit more, he says the quest he took for War in Kryta pointed him there. No, wait, the wiki for the quest pointed him there (the cyrstal desert). So I roll my eyes and offer to help him at least find the right place to be. So I spend 5 minutes trying to get the name of the quest out of him, so I can wiki it and tell him what he needs to do next.

Turns out he was on
"Ebon Vanguard Allies" -- Thackeray's picnic quest. I still cannot work out how he managed to
a) confuse "Ebon Vanguard Allies" with "Warrior's Quest" or any derivative thereof.
b) read the wiki and somehow manage end up in Destiny's Gorge, where none of the required items can be obtained.

I spied on him using the HOM calculator, he's got legendary guardian. So he can't be terrible at the game. I just didn't get it.

A while ago, I was going to fight my way to Droknors Forge from Beacon's Perch. I had to fight my way there because I was a non-tyrian character and didn't want to bother to do the quests to get there. Someone was wanting a Drok's run, and there were no runners. I figured that a human pretty much had to be better than a level 10 henchie. I was wrong... so very, very wrong. He was an elementalist with the habit of using Burning Speed to set himself on fire and run ahead of the party and into a group of monsters.

hmm... where to start there are so many...

this one was influenced by our guild group although it's still kinda sad and funny at the same time.

this happened just after factions was released. we were busy in Arborstone, the part where the ceiling collapses, mr. pug worrior is like "CHAERG!" headlong into anything and everything, team wipe, regroup at the outpost, go again.

but this time me and the other guild monk converse a bit before hand, i'll take word of healing, he'll take UA (please note old style UA.)

right go again, get to the previous team wipe part, the war goes again, calls target, UA drops, dead.

after about 7 bouts of this the guy pipes and tunes "Guys? i think my game is bugged! Everytime i call a target i die!"

Some guy said he'd show me how to get 10 zaishen keys in 2 minutes if I'd give him 3 of them. I knew it was going to be something stupid because you can't farm that much faction in 2 minutes, but I was curious as to what his plan was. His master plan was to have me buy 10 keys with tournament reward points. I spent all the points I had earned already, and I can't believe that anyone that actually had any would give him 3 keys for something so stupid.

He's looking for new players, or players who just don't use forums/wiki and have never heard of tournament reward points. Every account got 50 (and every new account starts with 50) a long while ago, but I'm sure there are many accounts out there with unclaimed points.

Mine was yesterday. There was a para with 65e on my bogroot (normal run at HM, not an SC), full radiants + bison cup. even though that all his chants were energy based, he was spamming anthem of flame on recharge with 12+ leadership, wich is pretty much enough for energy.

No doubt about this one. I was setting up a GvG guild and we joined a random AB alliance for lolz. Someone in alliance chat said:

"JUST BECAUS I AM THE ONLY GIRL IN THIS ALLIANCE DOESNT MEAN THAT I HAVE TO SEND YOU PICTURES OF ME NAKED IN THE SHOWER."
It was quite hilarious. What was more funny is that we ended up taking blame. (fyi, we didn't do it)

Player: How do you play this game? do we just run around?

Player#2: Yup, you just run around building your leg muscles and do pushups to level up.

Player: What about fighting the monsters? the box shows a dragon!

Player#2: Oh yeah, we already killed it and all the monsters, so we just sit around and talk all day
